Irovel 150 mg is an oral hypertensive agent having the property of a non-peptide Angiotensin II receptor antagonist. This is one of the most trusted drugs used to treat hypertension. In patients suffering from high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes with kidney disease, dizziness when getting up from a lying or sitting position, a significant drop in blood pressure from a lying or sitting position, and pain in muscles or joints.
Irovel 150 mg is for oral use. Swallow the whole tablet with one glass full of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. This medicine can be taken once a day. It can be taken with or without food. It is best to take it at the same time each day because it shows the best results and will help you remember the time to take the drug. Also, you should continue to take this medicine until your doctor tells you otherwise.
For patients with high blood pressure, the usual dose is 150 mg once a day. Later, the dose may be increased daily depending on blood pressure response. Your doctor may recommend a lower dose, especially when beginning treatment in certain populations, such as those with haemodialysis or those over 75 years. Irovel is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age
