Norflox 200 mg contains the active ingredient Norfloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic medicine used in adults to treat certain infections caused by bacteria. It is not known if it is safe for children under 18 years of age. Children have a higher chance of getting bone, tendon, or joint problems while taking Norfloxacin. Sometimes, infections are caused by viruses rather than bacteria. Examples include viral infections in the lungs and sinuses, such as the common cold and flu. Antibiotics such as Norfloxacin do not kill viruses. Call your doctor if you think your health condition is not improving while taking Norflox tablets.
